Cycle-slay mom held $30,000 Bail

A Long Island mom dragged a bicyclist the length of nearly two football fields to his death — and then conspired with a body-shop owner to cover up the grisly crime, prosecutors said yesterday.

Nicole Grammerstorf, 31, of Melville, turned herself in to the Suffolk DA yesterday and was charged with smacking into Luis Flores, 47, in Huntington Station last Sept. 3 and fleeing the scene.

The single mom, who was traveling with her then-5-year-old son, got out of her Jeep Cherokee and looked at her mangled victim before speeding off, cops said.

Grammerstorf, who had a prior arrest for DWI in 2006, enlisted Mark Monserrat, owner of a Deer Park auto-body shop, but a tipster told cops the SUV was there.

She pleaded not guilty to charges ranging from leaving the scene of an accident to tampering with evidence and claimed to have been at a family barbecue at the time of the accident. She was held on $50,000 bond and is to return to court on May 15.

Monserrat, who allegedly was in the process of selling the vehicle, pleaded guilty to tampering charges and was held on $30,000 bond.
