$1,150,000.00 Million Dollar Settlement for injured TSA worker

Flanzig and Flanzig has obtained a $1,150,000.00 Million Dollar Settlement on behalf of our client, an injured T.S.A. worker, who suffered a fall at Laguardia Airport. Working as a part-time TSA screener, our client was walking in an American Airlines Terminal when he slipped and fell as a result of a leaking roof. As a result of the fall our client suffered a knee injury requiring arthroscopic surgery. Months following the surgery he began to develop a condition know as R.S.D. or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (C.R.P.S.)

Following a lengthy litigation in the United States District Court filed against American Airlines, and an impleader action against the cleaning company hired by American Airlines, a settlement was obtained at a private mediation just prior to the start of the scheduled trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
