Firm Overview
We understand how important your case is to you; it is equally important to us.
A second generation law firm, brother and sister team Cathy and Daniel Flanzig carry on a 50 year tradition of representing injured New Yorkers. Today they bring their combined forty plus years of experience to help the needs of our clients.
Our roots date back to 1956 when our father founded the law firm then known as Joachim and Flanzig. Starting his practice on lower Broadway in New York City his firm continued to grow. The firm eventually moved out to Long Island and several years later found a home at 323 Willis Avenue where it existed for over 25 years. That firm now dissolved, today we continue in our fathers footsteps, operating out of the same office and following his same dedication and desire to meet our clients needs. As our firm has expanded to new areas of law, including nursing home abuse and neglect, construction accidents, and other job related injuries, we continue to follow our tradition of client service.
Our own personal experiences help shape our firm. Daniel's experience as an Emergency Medical Technician as well as in the area of Federal Law Enforcement has increased our ability to handle the cases of uniformed officers, Fire Fighters and other first responder injuries.
Cathy has remained dedicated to our appellate practice, no-fault issues and uninsured and under insurance claims, an area of practice that she has focused in for over 20 years. She also handles a variety of other insurance claim issues such as insurance re-imbursement and medicare.
We are proud of our family tradition of representing injured New Yorkers.
